Good Place to Work

On July 27th 2020, our Spanish teams moved to their brand new office spaces located in the Rio 55 Business Park in Madrid. This energy efficient building near the Manzanares river, was designed keeping the employees’ well-being at the core, with spaces that foster innovation and creativity.

The Rio 55 Business Park: a sustainable building

The Rio 55 Business Park has two independent L-shaped buildings that outline a large garden with more than 8,000 m² of green spaces. The interior façades of the two buildings have been designed to make the most of this lush green view through transparent window frames. The internal working spaces have also been conceived to allow flexibility and modularity.

RIO building

The BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions’ Spanish teams – along with the BNP Paribas Personal Finance’s Spanish teams – occupy the North Building of this 28,000 m² business complex.

Located in Melanolian Walk, 14A, they are neighbours to the Google Campus and the Royal Palace.

Breeam

The Rio 55 Business Park is not only modern but also sustainable! It is expected to obtain the Breeam “Very Good” rating soon.

BREEAM is the world’s leading sustainability assessment method that provides independent certification of the performance of buildings and infrastructure projects. It measures sustainable value across a series of categories like low impact design and carbon emissions reduction; design durability and resilience; adaption to climate change; ecological value and biodiversity protection.

Moving into this energy efficient building reflects our commitment towards a more sustainable future for all.

New building, new Ways of Working

Moving into these brand-new spaces will accelerate our transition to new ways of working.

Even before the move, 80% of employees (except the external sales teams) used to work from home at least once a week.  We expect this percentage to increase with the flex office organisation of the new premises. In addition, the COVID-19 crisis further proved our ability to ensure the efficient continuity of our activities from a distance.

Apart from the individual and shared work spaces, the new building will offer our Spanish employees:

  • More than 100 working spaces suited to different needs like collaborative spaces, meeting rooms, Phone Booths, creative spaces ….
  • 1 auditorium for up to gatherings of 100 people
  • 1 Business Center with meetings rooms to welcome clients, partners, or other visitors
  • Personal Lockers
